How to Stay Warm During Your Elopement
So how the heck do you stay warm when you’re outside getting your photos taken for your winter elopement photos? This guide will tell you everything you need to know!
Colorado Hiking Adventures
We did some serious hiking in Colorado this summer. Most notably was the strenuous Sky Pond trail. The last quarter of a mile scramble up the Timberline Falls to the alpine lake, is where I really pushed myself & my limits, making it one of my favorites! Below are some of the highlights from our time in the Glacier Gorge!
Door County Wedding
Surrounded by their closest friends & family reveling in all the organic- woodsy vibes, they committed themselves to forever & it was AMAZING! Am I allowed to pick favorites??!!! Because this definitely was my favorite outdoor wedding adventure’s of 2018!! Love these guys so dang much!! <3
Gooseberry Falls State Park Photos
Brooklyn & Matthew recently moved to Minnesota. Their love of exploring new State Parks and sense of adventure connected us. They hadn’t spent a ton of time on Lake Superior yet, but they knew they loved evergreens, rocks & the views of the lake up by Two Harbors, MN. So we planned a little road trip to Gooseberry Falls State Park for their anniversary photos!
Wedding at the Historic John P. Furber Farm
Kendra & Andy have been loving each other long distance for a few years now, and are so excited to finally be married & making plans for her to move to California & be on base with him when she graduates college!! Andy is a Marine out of Cali, these two are so incredibly in love, having only spent weekends together for most of their relationship, with only a short time living in the same town for about a month.
Devil’s Lake State Park Engagement
This was my second time exploring Devil’s Lake State Park which is located along the Baraboo Range. It’s Wisconsin’s largest State Park with epic lake views from the towering 500 ft quartzite cliffs (which for us flatlanders, is quite the hike!) Littered with quartzite rock formations, it’s obvious this landscape was carved out by the late Continental Glacier that once covered most of the state. This diverse landscape, in my opinion, is one of the greatest views in Wisconsin.
Wisconsin Outdoor Wedding
They picked out a beautiful spot on their property, just at the tree line, with a peak of the river slipping through. Surrounded by all their guest’s, Erik and Alexa vowed to forever together, it was truly a beautiful experience. After the ceremony, we hopped on the wheeler and headed down to the rocky shoreline for a little adventuring. Followed by their first dance, delicious dessert and a big ol’ bonfire, we finished the evening with a captivating lantern ceremony!
Minnesota Waterfall Engagement
The engagement photo adventure started at the top of Tettegouche State Park in Minnesota over looking Lake Superior. The clouds were heavy with all the North Shore moodiness we could ask for. From there we continued the journey by hiking down to High Falls, where these lovers got all kinds of cuddly on the rocky beach!
