This country has to be one of the most incredible places I have ever been. Not just the epic views & endless waterfalls, but a huge thing I love is the way of life. From the eco conscious, to the freedoms to be yourself. Iceland is well known for it’s long standing LGBTQ+ rights and it’s conservation efforts to combat climate change with the ban of single use plastic bags and soon to be all things single use plastic, YAY! I have also never met a group of humans as friendly and helpful as Icelanders, even the remote areas where I struggled to google translate Icelandic to English, I was greeted with smiles, patience and endless kindness.
