Kaycee + Jordan’s Elopement

Their North Cascades National Park Wedding
Kaycee and Jordan knew from the beginning they wanted a wedding day focused on them doing what they enjoy together. Eloping in the North Cascades surrounded by epic mountains was exactly the kind of adventure they were looking for to celebrate their marriage.
We met them in the parking lot of the North Cascades National Park Visitor Center where Kaycee got into her dress, did some final wedding day preparations and from there we set off on their elopement adventure.
On our trek up to the mountain view in time for sunset, Kaycee’s hiking boots literally fell apart — I am talking the soles of her boots literally fell off — and this goddess of a woman just tossed them into her backpack and kept on hiking like nothing happened (scroll all the way down for a pic!). She hiked with no soles on her boots through the rocky terrain, snow and mud — it was clear nothing was gonna stop these two from having an incredible wedding day experience — not even the lack of fully functioning shoes on her feet!
Along the way we stopped at a beautiful viewpoint to say their private vows to each other with just us and Mt. Baker as their witnesses. From there we continued along the trail to a small alpine lake for one of the most insanely epic alpenglow’s I’ve ever witnessed and to see it reflecting into the stillness of the small lake. It was truly an unforgettable, next-level experience.
They wrapped their wedding day adventure with a night hike off the mountain and a mini stargaze at the parking lot to round out the whole adventure.
