Iceland Engagement Photos - Kara + Jake
Okay, so for anyone that’s seen Iceland photos, been there or just heard of the island, I feel like this waterfall is the first to come to mind. It’s just so dang iconic. I can honestly say I was the MOST excited to see this insanely powerful waterfall in real life! One of the very, very few things I learned about the Icelandic language while we were there is that foss means waterfall, so when you see a landmark where the last part of the name ends in foss you know its a waterfall!
Anyway, when Kara and Jake said they wanted to stop and explore this area for the first stop of their engagement photo adventure, I was STOKED - daydreaming about how epic it would be! THEN, actually seeing these two, hand in hand, in front of this incredible former sea cliff, with millions of gallons of glacier fed water cascading down, the whole experience was pretty freaking unreal and beyond anything I could dream up. The birds circling overhead, the falls roaring so strong you could feel it, the steam setting the mood just right, it was seriously so unbelievably epic.
