Road tripping Iceland’s Ring Road
If you are planning a trip to Iceland, definitely one of the most fun things to do, in my opinion, is to take a mini road trip around the ring road. Traveling from one epic scene to another, its pretty wild going from super green - lush moss covered rocks and waterfalls to icy glaciers and chilly lagoons within the span of about 3 hrs.
We followed Kara & Jake from Vik up the ring road to so many amazing places; from a spontaneous stop at a roadside waterfall, to a small hike to an iconic gljúfur (canyon) and ending our adventure as the sunset over a glacier filled lagoon on another of Iceland’s amazing black beaches… it was unreal! We had such a freaking blast wandering this otherworldly land with our friends and capturing the whole journey!
