The park is filled with incredible views, alpine lakes, craggy peaks, waterfalls, epic hiking trails, and so much wildlife.
It’s accessible to all types of adventure, you can choose to road trip through the park hitting up all the vista views along the way, or grab your hiking gear and head out on an all day journey through the Montana Rockies!
Getting married in the park is really easy and such a unique experience:

Apply for the wedding permit to make sure that date is available!
We can help with this part! The permit covers your ceremony and photographer so that’s cool! Plus, you can choose a spot for your ceremony, then go explore another part of the park for photos without an extra photo permit!

Our TOP 3 Favorite Spots To Explore in GNP:
This is one of the absolute BEST places to get married in the park, especially if you decide to bring some guests along. There is a Swiss Chalet inspired hotel overlooking Swiftcurrent Lake in the valley, where you can stay, eat and hang out by the fire. Some of my personal favorite hikes and views start right by the hotel. So on your wedding day, you can just get ready in your room, walk outside and hit the trails! If you are wanting to head to another part of the park, they have red bus tours that stop at the hotel entrance that can take you wherever you need to go in the park as well! This area is the perfect pairing of adventure meets comfort!
This trail is my absolute favorite hike I have ever trekked thus far. The views, terrain and overall experience on the trail is unmatched by any other I’ve personally taken. There are a few ways to access the trailhead too, one is from the Many Glacier Hotel parking area where you traverse past 3 alpine lakes, then head up into the mountains — hiking past waterfalls, wildlife, wildflowers and never ending views of craggy peaks! The 2nd option is to shave off about 3.4 miles by taking shuttle boats over the lakes then hitting the trailhead — which is a great way to save time on your wedding day if your wanting the insane views with a little less time on the trails!
If this is your first time, or 100th time at Glacier NP, you will know that the Going-to-the-Sun Road is the heart of the park. This takes mountain roads to a new level — the views from the road take will blow your mind, every single time! If you are looking for some epic views for your elopement but don’t care to hike a bunch, or your timeline is a little shorter, a mini road trip through the mountains on this route is PERFECT! There are tons of little stops along the way that will give you the kind of views you swear you hiked 5+ miles to see. There is even a couple ranger stations along the way with food and restrooms too! Some couples opt to add a day two to their wedding experience. Fully exploring the whole road, making stops along the way for vista views, wildlife viewing and adventures!
